Aquatic Plants
Our stock of aquatic plants is the best in the area. We stock a large variety of plants and our knowledgeable staff is available to answer any questions you may have.
Aquatic Plant Varieties
There are typically 4 categories of water plants:
- Floaters – Floating plants are typically annual plants that help in the filtration of your water.
- Marginals – These plants usually are put along the edge of your pond and shelves that are no deeper than 10 to 12 inches depending on variety.
- Lily’s – Lily’s are the ones with the beautiful flowers and floating leaves. These plants generally are planted from 12 to 24 inches deep depending on variety.
- Tropicals – We generally use these for their foliage and flowers. They are treated as an annual in our area (zone 4). Tropical aquatic plants are equivalent to purchasing a hanging basket for that front porch beauty.
